Prayer Focus - Patience and Trust while waiting on God
Being honest about yourself, identify the following personality trait(s) you have:
Impatience (intolerance, eagerness)
Strong Will (determination, commanding)
Stubbornness (persistence, willfulness)
Wittiness (cleverness, sharpness)
Do you feel that your personality interferes with your relationship with God? If so, how?
Study and then write your interpretation of these Scriptures as it would apply to you and today’s prayer focus.
Isaiah 30:18 “Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!”
Psalm 27:14 “Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.”
Psalm 40:1 “For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.”
Pray that the Lord will improve your personality and give you more patience.

Chickpeas, Kidney, black, pinto and most other varieties of beans contain high amounts of protein per serving. They are also excellent sources of complex carbs, fiber, iron, folate, phosphorus, potassium, manganese and several beneficial plant compounds.
Studies show that eating good amounts of beans helps to reduce cholesterol, blood sugar levels, lower blood pressure and reduce belly fat.
Add a dash of chili pepper or turmeric for added health benefits. And, instead of spreading mayo on your sandwich try your favorite hummus.
