Prayer Focus - God's Will to be done

Being honest, how hard it is for you to pray that God’s will be done in a situation in your life? Identify the fear you have concerning it.

In what areas of your life are you seeking God’s Will to be revealed?

  • Purpose

  • Gifts and Calling

  • A troubling situation

  • Marriage or Relationship problem

  • Career

  • Other:

Scripture Study:

Study and then write your interpretation of these Scriptures as it would apply to you and today’s prayer focus.

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Jeremiah 17:7 “The man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence indeed is the LORD, is blessed.” Holman Christian Standard Bible

Jeremiah 39:18 “I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the LORD.”

Pray earnestly for a heart that expresses love for your Heavenly Father’s Perfect Will to be done in your life. Confess that you know He loves you and wants the best for you, and that His plan for you is Divine and predetermined by Him for your best interest.

How would you feel if God’s Will for you is the opposite of what you would like it to be?
