Prayer Room

Thank you for joining me this year. I'm sure that you will be blessed, inspired and empowered through this prayer journey. You will find that my recordings are soft toned. This is because i want you to listen with your heart so that the teaching  will penetrate your spirit.

My Forward from the book "When You Pray ... Pray Like This, All you need to know about Prayer"

"Life is a journey that is traveled one day at a time.  No matter how well planned and equipped we feel we are for it, life has its bumps in the road, steep hills and mountains to climb and rivers to cross.

There is no alternative but to stay the journey with self-confidence and optimism; accepting the cheering and egging on by loved ones, but mostly embracing the love of our Heavenly Father, keeping our hope and faith in our Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ and accepting the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit all the while praying like this…!"

God Bless You,

 Dr. Walker

Prayer Focus - Fervor (indifference)

Think about your passion for prayer and journal the ways you feel you can increase it.

Scripture Study:

Study and then write your interpretation of these Scriptures as it would apply to you and the prayer focus.

Isaiah 28:23”Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say.”

1st Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

Indifference is having a neutral attitude, a lack of sincerity or seeming disinterested in prayer. Personal Indifference is being relaxed about prayer because everything at the present time is okay. The solutions to these problems are to:

  • Remember the importance of prayer at all times

  • Force yourself to become more enthusiastic about the good things God wants for you

  • Recite the Scriptures that speaks of His plans and promises for your life

Pray for forgiveness about this attitude and ask the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with more passion for prayer.

Write a Personal Declaration of how much you love your Heavenly Father and the changes you will make so that you increase your passion for prayer.

At 18 grams of protein per cooked cup (240 ml), lentils are a great source of protein, iron, manganese, folate and antioxidants.

They contain a good amount of slowly digested carbs and 50 % of the recommended daily fiber intake. This type of fiber is good for the colon because it feeds good bacteria to it.

Lentils also help to fight heart disease, diabetes, certain types of cancer and it aides to reducing excess body weight.

Add Lentils to soups and salads.
They can be used in a variety of dishes, ranging from fresh salads to hearty soups.
