Prayer Focus - Fervor (indifference)
Think about your passion for prayer and journal the ways you feel you can increase it.
Study and then write your interpretation of these Scriptures as it would apply to you and the prayer focus.
Isaiah 28:23”Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say.”
1st Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”
Indifference is having a neutral attitude, a lack of sincerity or seeming disinterested in prayer. Personal Indifference is being relaxed about prayer because everything at the present time is okay. The solutions to these problems are to:
Remember the importance of prayer at all times
Force yourself to become more enthusiastic about the good things God wants for you
Recite the Scriptures that speaks of His plans and promises for your life
Pray for forgiveness about this attitude and ask the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with more passion for prayer.
Write a Personal Declaration of how much you love your Heavenly Father and the changes you will make so that you increase your passion for prayer.
